Nick Waugh has the mayor's second place ranked endorsement for the District 5 supervisor seat, and with his brigade of volunteers it's sure to go to good use.

I think Waugh will make a good supervisor. Although he is a progressive Democrat, he is business friendly, which will benefit the city in the long run. He seems like a good replacement to Gonzalez (who has not been able to end much of the gridlock down at City Hall). I especially like Waugh’s idea for providing free internet access to individuals and businesses in the city.

    What, progressives aren't business-friendly?

I know Ross Mirkarimi has floated the idea of free Wi-Fi. My question to Waugh and Mirkarimi is, how would you pay for it?
